Owner reporting

How to compare operators without headline-fee bias

Marbella Hospitality · Prepared · Practical note

Operator proposals should be compared on scope, exclusions and expected workload as well as fee percentage. A lower fee can leave important tasks with the owner.

A practical approach

  1. List included guest and property services.
  2. Identify separately charged work.
  3. Ask how reporting, procurement and emergencies are handled.

An example to consider

Two operators quoting the same percentage may provide very different housekeeping coordination or maintenance coverage. Build a scope table before comparing price.

What to track

Compare total management cost and clearly assigned responsibilities.
